Our class mom is a helicopter parent in the sense that she over thinks class events and needs enough to rally all the other parents together to get it all done. She’s also a helicopter parent in the sense that she asked foe a c-section so her son wouldn’t be born a capricorn. I was a appreciative of her helicopter-ness until she blew my mind with that little gem. Then, I just got really scared.

I find that more often, helicopter parents only have one child. Although I know it exists beyond the second born, I just cant imagine many parents of multiple children having enough energy to care about every little bit of food that falls on the floor and goes directly into their mouths. One pestering little voice is managable. Two pestering little voices start to wear you down to the ground until you’re just laying there, hoping someone will drop food on the floor might you have the chance to eat!

Love your blog.
